Investment Description

Space Policy Directive 3 issued in 2018 to establish a civil space traffic management/coordination capability to serve the commercial sector free of direct user fees. TraCSS is the Department of Commerce's enterprise solution civil space traffic coordination. TraCSS will ingest, archive, process, and disseminate Space Situational Awareness (SSA) data and products for space safety and sustainability. TraCSS will provide conjunction analysis and warning services to commercial satellite owner/operators to foster economic growth and technological advancement of the U.S. commercial space industry.
